Thank you, Lesley, this really resonates with me and I love the image/photo as well. When I think back on how my life has evolved I can see the evolution of my wise self. It was very "measured" and although I wish it had charted a faster pace, I also know that it was important to fully experience my "3D-ness" and the growth pattern my soul was/is destined to play out! At almost 77 (next week) it's still Onward...!
I suppose for me my wisdom was not expressed out loud for so long, that it became a habit of just listening and not adding my wisdom. However, once I truly added my comments I discovered they did have value and also gave support. I do have opinions, I do have truths that need to be shared, lovingly and sometimes with humor. My time with others is much more balanced now.
Your words are the waves gently rolling into the shore and calmly letting go. Yes wisdom. So often ignored for the "black and white" of all, yet it is the inherent thing that makes life work, when you don't know how to "make life work." I remember my aunt telling me she didn't feel confident until she hit her 60s. Yeah, about right. As Paul Simon sang, "...after all the crap I learned in high school, if was a wonder I could think at all..." THEY sell you a really good story about how you should live your life, but what really matters is lifting people UP. Adding value to their lives. Taking care of creatures great and small. Taking in the SUPER NATURAL that surrounds oneself -- it's all right in plain sight. The small wonders of the world, but for me, really, it was when I saw a student's eyes sparkle (after years of having their spirits broken) when they knew no matter what, they were a critical element to the world with whatever wisdom they had to offer. Without them, there would be a void because they meant something. All they had to do was ( and me) to silence the naysayers who reminded us of all the things we couldn't do instead of us take life one step at a time and enjoy the ride. Now, if I could only figure out how to catch a feral cat to get spayed! Peace out and remember, "Do you thang, well cuz, it's YOUR thing and no one can take it from you. Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy.

Happy Birthday! May you flourish and enjoy the wisdom you have earned. Glad this one resonated.
Great thoughts Lesley.

As lovers of life we have lots to add!♥️
Yay! Wisdom speaks. I think we all have to ease our way into it, and doing so, awakens our true wise self!
With maturity comes certainty with one's personally discovered wisdom. What follows is acting on it!
So true!
