Lesley, I bought your book when it first came out and have yet to make any quilts. I love your focus on historical figures and events. I plan to create some with my family pics but am thinking about widening my focus. Thanks for sharing your process and inspiration today.

What week to read about an artist using history to examine deeper ideas. How do women not in power navigate difficult times., is a theme that strikes me as important. (On a side note. We create because we don’t know what we’re doing but choose to let the process be the teacher!)
