History is awesome no matter who we are or how our own history evolves! Grace, to me, is often the result of the grace we have or have not had in our own history we have lived, the examples life has afforded us and the attention we have given those powerful moments of grace! Thank you for reminding us about the graces we have been able to experience in our lifetime!

Thank you, Lesley, for this lovely post. It reminds me of my childhood! At he moment I am reading "The Art of Grace" by Sarah L. Kaufman. I am enjoying it very much and I bet you would like it too. I look forward to your next post.

What a wonderful post! It made me think, i agree wholeheartedly with your list and then some....Grace to me is everything my beautiful mother was, even with Alzheimers. Being her carer taught me so much when I thought I knew life, having lived a pretty full one! But she was still teaching me lessons, right to the very end.

Thank you, Lesley...for a wonderful read today and for the inspiration for my journal post tonight.

Wise old women do acquire grace, don't they? Bless you for being her carer.

Yes! So many people are too hard on themselves. I like to think I have an aura of grace that emanates to others.

Grace, such a flowing, peaceful word. Grace arrives at my door when I allow life to be and I ooze through the day not judging, not grasping for MY outcome. It’s a state of mind that gives the Universe permission to escort me, care for me and deliver me throughout the day.

I love your recall of the “50’s”. I grew up then too. There was an allowing given to us to go out into the world without fear. We felt safe and secure. and these factors allow GRACE to guide us, and even BE us. I suspect Grace lives inside us waiting to be called upon.🩷🥰

Reading this I thought of how being in grace can lower our blood pressure. I love your concept of grace. If we call upon grace often enough, hopefully she will never leave us.

I believe she is deeply woven into who we are. Should we choose to invite her to the forefront she will never hesitate to.❤️

Grace, to me, is gentle beauty. I've always connected it with my years of ballet and how it looks to make gestures of that art. Of course it is a lot more than that in one's behavior as Lesley has so well stated here.....with grace of course!

Thank you, Lynn. The thing about the graceful ballerinas is that we know how much work and effort goes into it. Grace personified.
