Ailsa Willis. New Zealand. You visited Wendy next door some time ago. Love what you write Lesley. Turning ninety next Monday - my bliss is probably continuing to be healthy even though I have lost my balance and have three walkers, one for inside, one for outside and one in the boot of the car for shopping. I enjoy making cards in my little crafting corner.
Ailsa!!!! Nina and I were just talking about you when she was here visiting me, and we were wondering how you were doing. It is so wonderful to hear from you. Happy, happy 90th. I'll be 72 in one month. If you are healthy and can get around with the walkers, then you should be so proud that you're still on the go. I bet your cards are still lovely. I have the one you sent or gave me. It's a treasure. Just don't ask me where it is right now! At our age, I imagine we both have large collections of treasures that are too meaningful and important to get rid of. Please say hello to Wendy for me. And thanks for reading my writing. xox
Two different words which for me really feed on one another. I can feel and hear passion flowing through me. Others have commented “ You really come alive when you talk about that, I wish I felt passionate like that about anything.” Passion guides me down the path trusting an inner process towards bliss. Like an indicator light on my dashboard. They aren’t the same, but they commingle and I sure like the wide open flow that says “ you go girl”.
My bliss is making things for others...quilts, pillows, bags- sometimes from a loved one's clothing, sometimes for a special occasion- what ever it may be! I'm at the age that I can do whatever I want and I am lucky enough to be able to do it.
How wonderful that you have that freedom now. I'm sure you've been doing for others all your life. Now you get to choose how to do it. Thanks for sharing.

Good example of how one thing feeds and guides the other. Thanks for the insight.

thanks for sharing your thoughts. I enjoy reading them, sometimes more than once, often finding something useful to ponder.
Thank YOU for reading my thoughts. I appreciate knowing that you find something useful in some of them.
