Wow! I try to imagine being 90 years old and what my daily routine might be. Seeing these incredible women opened me up. IT IS POSSIBLE, ( first and foremost) and secondly these women live in a space that compliments and supports their every breath.
I have cycles to my artistic routine. I’m emerging from a “too busy to do art” mantra. Nonsense, utter rubbish. It is precisely when I need to go in my art room, ( perfect cup of tea in hand) and sit in the quiet until the daemon shows up. The stillness, the inner muse, my artist soul can be reached then.
As always, Lesley you have given me just what I needed to read, and see to make an inner turn to what I need. Thank you ❤️
I had similar feelings. It was like an opening-up of pent up feeling of creativity that have yet to erupt. The words of Katherine Bradford were so familiar to something inside me. Feelings that have lived inside me so long that they have almost begun to fester and need to come out. I must try to address these feelings and bring them to light before I loose them completely. It’s time to make a plan!
Oh my! Both videos were words for the soul! I’m a 71 year old artist who’s looking forward to what my next 30 years brings! And the 2nd video…’gathering my lost bits’ perfect description of what I have been doing since my move to the my sanctuary on the lake. Delightful! Thank you
Perfect time of the year for a Florida escape. Enjoy your time down there! Isn’t that lady the best. I think I saw her on CBS Sunday Morning recently. If she can do it so can we. Started following an French ig artst. Only 103 and still painting. 😳😘
These were so wonderful! Thank you for sharing them with us. I plan to share with my class of senior mixed-media artists that meet every Tuesday for a 2.5 hour visual experimentation gathering. Enjoy your vacation!
Lesley, Both of these videos were wonderful. Gives me hope that I'll still be creating at 90. Enjoy your vacay time. Thanks for this gift this morning.
The videos were so good, my life has resonated with the second so much, and at 67 I am still learning how to speak kind to myself. But your quote from a fondly remembered artist who blog I read for so many years after he passed when his daughter kept it going - Robert Genn. Made me smile and feel all the good feels today. Thank you.💕

This is wonderful to hear Susie. I’m glad the videos ignited your fire.

Jimmie! I am so happy to hear this. Time and a plan for moving forward does help. I hold you in my heart.
Thank you! Lesley, you have always been so gracious!
Thank you for sharing Lesley, I enjoyed watching the video's both and your quotes too.
I do love to share good quotes. Thanks Laura.

I love that you, too, are looking forward to the next 30 years. Me, too. Thanks for letting me know you liked the videos.
Such an encouraging thing to watch amidst all the bleakness of the current news.
Really enjoyed - and thank you for sharing!
Thanks, Sue. Glad you enjoyed.
