As of today, I have 4602 subscribers. I want to pop in and say THANK YOU, thank you, thank YOU to all of my subscribers and readers. It is a privilege to be granted admittance to your inbox each week. Writers will write even if nobody reads their words, but it sure feels good when you know someone is reading. And even better if someone is benefiting from those written words.
If you are reading these words right now, then you have the opportunity to leave a comment that will enter you into a special Thank You Gift Giveaway.
Meet Lady Alchemy was first a cyanotype print. Now she is my alter-ego. She appears in many forms and always has much to say. She is always poised and ready to inspire.
One of these could be yours! How? Just leave a comment of a sentence or two about Lady Alchemy. I will mail one of these 4x6” cards to four randomly chosen commenters, and ALL five cards to the writer of the comment that I most enjoyed reading. Are you game?
The giveaway will end at 12 noon EST on Sunday, June 29*. I will comment on the winning comments so that you can provide your mailing address. I will mail anywhere, it is not restricted to US residents.
Again, thank you for reading Further to Fly. If you’re enjoying it, I’d love it if you would share it with a friend, or 2 or 5. Further to Fly will always be free, but paid subscription support is always appreciated.
I’ll be back in your inbox Monday.
How fitting. 4602 surely has some alchemical significance. Congratulations on your growth on Substack. Your honest and vulnerable musings on how creativity has tugged and pushed you must resonate with so many, myself included. Your Lady Alchemy specifically tugs at my soul, reminds me of some of my favorite books by authors such as Alice Hoffman, Deborah Harkness, Nora Roberts, and Sarah J. Maas, who glorify the power and magic that is woman. I hope I live to see the day when we rise up in our own might. My best to you as always.
Lady Alchemy opens the door to the natural world. I quietly escape into nature to build strength for my body and soul. Thank you for reminding us to feed our creative souls.
